Job summary

Baker Tilly is seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join our growing team in the California Central Valley with hybrid work options from Fresno or Sacramento (Rancho Cordova). You will serve middle-market clients, performing assurance services and contributing to internal control assessments.

The ideal candidate holds a 4-year degree, CPA eligibility, and at least 3 years of audit experience in a professional services setting.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required; CPA eligible
• Three years of experience providing assurance/auditing services
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted member of the engagement team providing various assurance and consulting services to industry specific clients.
• Proactively engage with clients throughout the year to gather needed information to complete testing and respond to questions raised.
• Plan and supervise the execution of all audit engagement activities.
• Review and perform substantive testing on client’s balance sheets and income statements.
• Conduct and review tests to assess deficiencies of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement.
• Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
• Network and build relationships internally and with clients.
