Qualifications

• Currently a college student pursuing a BA/BS degree in accounting or a related field.
• Past work experience or a desire to build a career in audit, risk, or compliance.
• Self-starter, flexible and curious.
• Highly organized, detail oriented and fast learner.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong desire to learn; ability to learn new systems and tools.
• Accountable for meeting deadlines and work performed.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support internal controls and enterprise risk management activities.
• Gather evidence and perform testing to assess control design and operation.
• Assist with documentation: narratives, control descriptions, risk & control matrices, process flowcharts.
• Monitor certifications for internal controls and communicate status to owners.
• Assist in walkthroughs to identify/validate controls.
• Help document remediation action plans for control failures.
• Support enterprise risk management activities and leadership presentations.
• Cross-train in other areas of the internal controls governance team.
• Perform special projects and interact with cross-functional teams.
