Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen Wealth Advisors, LLC is seeking an Audit Manager or Director to join our North Texas Team in Dallas or Fort Worth. You will assume responsibility for planning, supervising, and delivering audit engagements for client portfolios, with emphasis on quality and efficiency.

The role requires a CPA, 6+ years in public accounting, and strong leadership with mentoring abilities. Travel to client sites is expected as needed; excellent client service and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 6+ years of public accounting experience in audits, reviews, and compilations.
• CPA license required.
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability.
• Willingness to travel to client sites, including overnight travel if needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise, and control all phases of engagements for assigned clients.
• Lead engagement teams and manage staffing, budgeting, and timelines.
• Make key engagement decisions and keep the Engagement Principal informed.
• Develop staff through coaching, training, and performance feedback.
• Supervise engagement letters and confirm terms with clients prior to start.
• Evaluate internal controls and audit programs, presenting findings to the Engagement Principal.
• Monitor progress, time budgets, and deadlines; communicate developments to the client and Engagement Principal.
