Job summary

Doeren Mayhew is seeking an Audit Manager to join our Orlando, FL office. The Manager will lead client engagements, ensuring quality through technical control, accuracy and timeliness across industries such as construction, real estate, manufacturing, and more.

Required are a Bachelor's in Accounting, a CPA license, and 5+ years of audit experience, with strong analytical and communication skills and proficiency in Excel. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required.
• CPA license required.
• Minimum 5+ years of current experience in audit practice.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement team serving clients in various industries.
• Lead all phases of an audit, including planning, control analysis and testing, substantive procedures, and reporting.
• Preparation and review of financial statements, workpapers, audit programs, etc.
• Research and conclude on complex accounting and assurance issues.
• Review the work of Associates and provide guidance/mentorship to develop technical skills.
• Train new Associates and interns on firm technology, processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with firm leadership on new business development activities; participate in client meetings, presentations, and proposal development.
