Job summary

Geeslin Group LLC is seeking an Audit Manager to oversee audit engagements, provide technical guidance, and ensure timely, high-quality service for clients in Peachtree City, GA. You will coach staff, manage budgets, and expand client relationships while staying current with auditing standards.

The role requires CPA and 5+ years in public accounting, strong leadership, and excellent communication. Travel to client sites possible; generous benefits and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• CPA certification and a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant audit experience in public accounting with engagement management.
• Strong knowledge of GAAS, GAAP, audit planning and risk assessment.
• Proficiency with audit software and Microsoft Office.
• Proven leadership and ability to coach, mentor, and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and client service skills.
• Highly organized with multiple engagements and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion.
• Review workpapers and financial statements, provide guidance to staff.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks and deficiencies, and recommend improvements.
• Research and resolve complex accounting and auditing matters.
• Monitor engagement budgets, deadlines, realization, and profitability.
• Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and engagement matters with clients and leadership.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and referral sources.
• Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop staff and senior auditors.
• Stay current on accounting and auditing standards and communicate changes to team.
• Collaborate with firm leadership to support departmental goals and growth.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and leverage technology.
• Contribute to firm growth by expanding services and client relationships.
