Job summary

H. T. PROF Group is seeking an Audit Manager in the Los Angeles area to lead multiple audit engagements and liaise between clients and staff. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement with potential relocation support for West Los Angeles or Woodland Hills offices, and a fast track toward Director/Partnership.

The Manager will manage engagements, supervise staff, nurture client relationships, and contribute to business development initiatives within a progressive regional CPA firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• At least five years of experience in public accounting.
• Holds a current CPA license.
• Ability to travel to assigned client locations.
• Preferred industry focus in Manufacturing/Technology or Consumer Products.

Responsibilities

• Manages all phases of audits or reviews across multiple engagements.
• Maintains client contact and develops relationships throughout the year.
• Escalates issues to Director or Partner and proposes solutions.
• Ensures engagements are properly scheduled and budgets are tracked.
• Reviews financial statements and client deliverables.
• Directs, trains, and reviews work of staff accountants.
• Participates in business development efforts.
