We are seeking an Audit Manager or Experienced Senior (3+ years) with expertise in Alternative Investment Funds to join our team. This role involves providing audit and attest services to private investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity, venture capital, private credit, SBIC, real estate, and offshore funds. Additionally, the position includes overseeing audit and custody examination services for investment advisory firms, building strong client relationships, and staying current on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with staff, clients, and third-party fund administrators.
• Develop, oversee, and delegate tasks to staff during engagements.
• Manage engagement planning and execution to ensure successful completion.
• Handle billing, collections, and engagement scheduling.
• Become a subject-matter expert in technical aspects.
• Identify opportunities to provide additional services and retain clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, fund administrators, and industry contacts.
• Mentor and develop staff, providing constructive feedback.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 4+ years of audit experience, preferably with alternative investment funds and advisory firms.
• Private equity fund experience is a plus.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Proven ability to manage multiple engagements during peak seasons.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in hiring, leading, and developing professional teams.
