Job summary

EisnerAmper in Columbus, GA is seeking an Audit Manager to lead the Affordable Housing Assurance practice, delivering high-quality audits and client service.

You will supervise engagement teams, review workpapers, resolve complex issues, and manage billing and staffing while supporting firm initiatives.

CPA required with 4+ years of public accounting audit experience, and affordable housing or real estate development exposure.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of progressive audit experience in public accounting.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field required.
  • CPA certification is required.
  • Affordable Housing or Real Estate Development experience in public accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review audits, including the more complex files.
  • Engagement management, client communication, tracking, and oversight.
  • Review workpapers and resolve significant client issues.
  • Prepare billing and manage engagement staffing.
  • May participate in recruiting activities and firm initiatives.

We are seeking an Audit Manager to join the Affordable Housing Assurance practice. We are seeking someone who thrives in a growing environment and providing clients with exceptional services.

What Work You Will be Responsible For:
  • Prepare most difficult audits
  • Workpaper review
  • Review common files
  • Resolve significant client issues
  • Prepare billing
  • Engagement management, communication, tracking, and oversight
  • Filling in engagement team gaps
  • Actively involve in firm initiatives
  • Prepare/review 10%, contractor and owner's certs, DCR
  • May participate in recruiting activities such as attending job fairs or participating in interviews
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 4+ years of progressive audit and/or assurance experience
  • Affordable Housing or Real Estate Development experience within Public Accounting
  • CPA
Preferred/Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Accounting or equivalent field
  • 1+ year of supervisory experience within Public Accounting
