Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing required.
• CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent professional qualification preferred.
• 7+ years in public accounting with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and ISA.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and supervise financial statement audits for a range of clients.
• Assess audit risks and develop appropriate audit strategies and plans.
• Manage audit engagements from start to finish, including budgeting, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Lead, train, and mentor junior audit staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a primary point of contact.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards, regulations, and firm policies.
• Review audit working papers and financial statements for accuracy and completeness.
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients' management and audit committees.
• Identify opportunities for business process improvements and internal control enhancements for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing.

• In-depth knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Proven experience in managing multiple audit engagements simultaneously.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in audit software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to travel to client sites as required.
