Job summary

Our client, located in north central Phoenix and one of Arizona's largest, locally owned CPA and business advisory firms, is seeking an Audit Manager to lead client engagements across Manufacturing, Retail, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Estate/Gift.

You will manage audits from start to finish, supervise staff, and drive new business while working in a hybrid schedule. Base salary is up to $140,000 DOE.

• Minimum 5 years public accounting experience
• CPA or CPA Candidate in process
• Strong communication and analytical skills

Responsibilities

• Manage audits from start to finish
• Review field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Review financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience)
• Develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationships
• Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to clients
• Assist in firm administrative functions as needed

This position will manage clients and staff and will work within several niches including Manufacturing/Retail/Distribution, Restaurants, Construction, Real Estate, and Individual/Estate/Gift.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule and base salary up to $140,000 DOE.

Responsibilities:

• Manage audits from start to finish
• Review field work of audits, reviews and compilations
• Review financial statements with full disclosures
• Plan, supervise and complete routine engagements
• Supervise other accountants (of varying levels of proficiency and experience)
• Develop new client relationships, and strengthen existing relationships

Background Required:

• Minimum 5 years public accounting experience
• CPA or CPA Candidate in process

• A high understanding of GAAP and OCBOA
