Job summary

Orion Placement seeks a confident CPA with external audit leadership to join our Marco Island office. You will lead financial statement audits from planning through completion and manage client engagements directly.

The role is on-site in Marco Island, FL with potential flexible work arrangements after establishing with the team. Candidates must have 3+ years of audit experience and a current CPA license.

Qualifications

• Active CPA license required.
• 3+ years of external audit experience in public accounting preferred.
• Hands-on experience performing financial statement audits.
• Ability to manage audit engagements and communicate directly with clients.
• Strong understanding of auditing principles, financial statements, and accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage and perform financial statement audits from planning through completion.

• Coordinate audit engagements, timelines, and deliverables to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Communicate directly with clients regarding audit requirements, findings, and financial reporting matters.

• Collaborate with colleagues to resolve audit issues and maintain high professional standards.

Location

Join our team in beautiful Marco Island, Florida. This is an on-site position, with the possibility of some work-from-home flexibility after becoming established with our firm.

Note

An active CPA license and hands-on experience performing and managing external audits are required. Candidates must be comfortable working directly with clients and willing to work from our Marco Island office.
