Job Description

Finance, Accounting, CPA-Track Majors

During your internship, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with client leadership, understand the IT environments that are transforming the way we do business today, and help provide assurance that controls are operating the way they should. From day one, you will be a part of a team that is looking to transform the way we perform audits through the use of technology, learn about industry standards that help define and secure our clients’ control environments, and make recommendations to help them maintain compliance with applicable standards as required within the industry they operate.

Candidates must:

  • Have strong academic credentials
  • CPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license. Prior to starting full-time, new hires must fulfill the education‑related eligibility criteria to obtain a CPA license in their assigned Crowe work location. These requirements vary by state, and it is the new hire’s responsibility to ensure that they satisfy the applicable criteria prior to starting with the firm.
  • Be willing to travel
  • Have a desire to continue personal growth through continuing professional education, self‑study, and pursuit of accounting and audit certifications
  • Be capable of independently managing time and prioritizing tasks in a fast‑paced environment
  • Be able to communicate technical findings to non-technical audiences, such as company officers (CEOs, CIOs, CFOs, COOs) and Audit Committees


Desirable Pre‑requisite Knowledge

  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in team environment and foster client relationships
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Familiar with auditing concepts (sampling, creating controls, testing controls)
  • Eager to develop strong technical skills for technologies and applications our clients use

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $27.00 - $42.00 per hour.
