Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA
• Before starting full-time at PwC, meet the educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment
• Client service intern positions are entry-level; typically in third year of a four-year degree or fourth year of a five-year program at application time

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gaining exposure to auditing methodologies
• Participate in the review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards
• Assist in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making
• Engage in the documentation of audit processes and findings to maintain organized records
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement
• Utilize data analysis to support the audit process and improve financial reporting
• Observe and learn from experienced auditors to develop foundational audit practices and client interactions
