Symphona is seeking students for a full-time audit internship. The Audit Intern will actively contribute to accounting and auditing engagements while supporting the firm's values through professional communication and relationship management.

Job description

We are looking for students interested in a full‑time audit internship in our office. The Audit Intern is the team member who performs the majority of the day‑to‑day fieldwork on accounting and auditing engagements. The Audit Intern supports the Firm’s goals and values through all professional communication and maintenance of positive working relationships.

Essential Functions & Primary Duties:

• Gain an understanding and assist in planning multiple audits
• Execute solid understanding of accounting and auditing principles, quality control standards and technology implementation procedures relative to individual client assignments
• Participate in client assignments from beginning to end
• Identify and communicate audit issues, technical matters and improvement opportunities with senior associates, managers and partners to resolve client issues discovered during the audit process
• Develop and maintain an excellent working relationship with all levels of client staff to increase customer satisfaction and to strengthen client relationships
