Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Intern in Raleigh to gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits within our Assurance practice. You will support teams, learn PwC methodologies, and observe audit processes in a professional environment.

You will develop a foundational understanding of auditing, GAAP/GAAS, and client interactions while contributing to project goals and building your commercial awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA eligibility required.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and GAAS is expected.
• Interest in audit processes and client service internships.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gaining exposure to auditing methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
