Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience in financial statement audits and client support within our Assurance practice. You will learn PwC methodologies, observe audit processes, and contribute to project goals while developing your personal brand and commercial awareness.

You will work on diverse assignments, learning GAAP/GAAS, and collaborating with teams to analyze financial data and strengthen reporting quality.

Qualifications

Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum 3.0 GPA overall.
Before starting full-time at PwC, eligible to sit for CPA exam in intended state of employment.
Client service intern roles are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

Assist audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and learn auditing methodologies.
Review financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
Collaborate with team to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
Support evaluation of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
Utilize data analysis to support audit processes and improve financial reporting.
Observe experienced auditors to develop a foundation in audit practices and client interactions.
