Job summary

Armanino LLP in Austin is seeking a Winter 2028 Audit Intern to gain hands-on experience by assisting in audit procedures, documenting workpapers, and collaborating with engagement teams. Start date January 3, 2028, with opportunities to engage in client relationships and technical research.

You will work within a team and as an individual contributor to support client needs, with training and development opportunities to grow in public accounting.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.
• Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master’s program in business with an emphasis in accounting
• Preferred: Plan to complete 150 semester/225 quarter unit requirement for CPA licensure eligibility between December 2028 – August 2029

Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers to contribute to the completion of audit, review, and other engagements.
• Work as an individual contributor and as part of an engagement team to support client needs
• Interpret and analyze financial data and communicate all findings and issues to the engagement team
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters
• Engage with client personnel, as well as the engagement team to develop further relationships

Education

Bachelor's or Master's in Business with an emphasis in accounting
