Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Compliance Manager in Atlanta, GA to oversee the firm's compliance management system across states. This non-attorney role reports to the Senior Compliance Attorney and ensures audit readiness, documentation, and corrective actions.

The role emphasizes client audits, QA, and regulatory compliance in a multi-state environment. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvements, monitor vendor performance, and coordinate responses to audits and inquiries to protect

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five+ years in compliance, QA, audit, or regulatory operations in consumer collections or finance.
• Two+ years supervising staff or managing a program end to end.
• Fluent knowledge of FDCPA, Regulation F, FCRA, and related consumer protection laws.
• Experience supporting client/regulatory audits and corrective action tracking.
• Excellent written communication and data-driven reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and data analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead client audits and examinations, coordinating prep, documents, and outcomes.
• Maintain audit-readiness files: policies, licenses, training, and security docs.
• Draft audit responses and manage corrective action plans to closure.
• Track findings and root causes across clients; surface systemic issues.
• Complete client compliance questionnaires and annual certifications on schedule.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance dashboards and client reports.
