The position reports to the Managing Principal of National Assurance and offers a flexible location within the country, with a focus on quality control, research, and methodology development in governmentaudits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6 years of public accounting experience or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent; up-to-date with GAAP, GASB, and Uniform Guidance.
• Strong verbal and written communication; analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of assurance engagements.
• Analyze observations, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate to develop process improvements.
• Be a technical resource for engagement teams on the application of professional standards and GAAP.
• Assist in development and maintenance of assurance methodology and practice aids.
