Job summary

Citrin Cooperman is seeking an Audit & Attest Manager for our Ohio offices. You will lead engagement teams on audits, reviews, and compilations, identify risk areas, and present findings to Partners.

The role includes mentoring staff, managing client relationships, and contributing to budgets and business development. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting, CPA eligibility (or 150 credit hours), and at least six years in public accounting with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; CPA eligibility or 150 credit hours required for CPA eligibility.
• Minimum 6 years at a public accounting firm, including at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong leadership, teamwork, and client relationship skills; ability to manage multiple engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement teams in audits, reviews, and compilations including fieldwork and documentation review.
• Identify key audit risks, formulate overall approaches, and present conclusions to Partners.
• Train and mentor team members to ensure high-quality work and professional growth.
• Cultivate relationships with clients through proactive communication and engagement with client personnel.
• Coordinate with Partners regarding work status and client issues; provide constructive feedback to staff.
• Develop budgets and pricing strategies for audit engagements and participate in business development activities.
• Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging auditing trends; participate in professional development.
