Job summary

RSM in the United States is seeking an experienced audit professional to lead engagement teams and deliver high‑quality financial statement audits. You will assess risk, apply our audit methodology, and coach staff while managing multiple engagements across client portfolios.

The role requires strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge, a CPA certification, and the ability to travel roughly 25% of the year. You will build profitable client relationships and contribute to practice growth.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting or equivalent.
• CPA or CA Certification.
• 5+ years in public accounting.
• Experience leading teams and mentoring staff.
• Understanding of GAAP/GAAS and FASB or IFRS.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely, high quality client service including coordinating audits and required disclosures.
• Assess risk and design audit procedures for engagement teams.
• Understand and apply RSM's Audit Methodology.
• Manage multiple engagement teams and evaluate staff performance.
• Coach Seniors and Supervisors; monitor productivity and schedules.
• Maintain client contact to assess business developments and impacts on audits.
• Develop others through training and firm initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to add value to clients and firm relationships.
• Manage project profitability and communicate matters to senior leaders.
• Travel 25% of the year as needed.
