Job summary

PwC in Maryland is seeking an Audit Associate to participate in financial statement audits within the Assurance practice. You will learn and contribute to client engagements, developing your skills and knowledge to deliver quality work while building relationships with clients.

You will support senior staff, engage in research, and interpret data to inform insights, adhering to professional standards and independence requirements in a dynamic environment at PwC.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Minimum 3.0 GPA overall
• Must meet educational requirements to sit for the CPA exam in the state of employment
• Entry-level client service associate position suitable for candidates finishing their degree

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and policy adherence
• Utilize data analysis to identify trends and provide insights
• Monitor financial trends to support decision making
• Implement accounting and reporting standards for consistency
• Collaborate with team to address findings and solutions
• Document processes to improve audit efficiency
