Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Associate to perform financial statement audits, applying GAAS and audit methodologies within our Assurance practice. You will learn, support senior staff, and contribute to clients by analyzing data and referencing internal controls.

Travel up to 20% and a structured path toward CPA eligibility are provided, with opportunities to develop professional skills, build client relationships, and contribute to quality audits while upholding PwC's standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accounting required; CPA exam eligibility before full-time employment.
• GPA requirement of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience with GAAP/GAAS standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial statement audits in accordance with GAAS.
• Apply auditing methodologies to evaluate financial documents and internal controls.
• Review and verify financial documents for accuracy and compliance.
• Use data analysis to identify trends and inform audit conclusions.
• Monitor financial trends to support decision-making in audits.
• Implement accounting and reporting standards to ensure consistency.
• Collaborate with team to address audit findings and develop solutions.
• Document processes to improve audit efficiency and quality.
