CyberCoders is seeking an Audit Associate in New Jersey to support the audit team across diverse clients. You will assist in planning and executing audits, prepare working papers, and help evaluate financial statements for compliance with regulations.

This role offers growth within a public accounting environment. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Accounting and 1–2 years of public accounting or audit experience, with strong analytical and communication skills to collaborate with clients

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of public accounting or audit experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of audit principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing audit engagements in accordance with professional standards.
• Prepare audit documentation and working papers to support audit findings.
• Perform analytical procedures and substantive testing of financial statements.
• Evaluate internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports and presentations for clients highlighting audit results and recommendations.
• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
• Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in auditing.
