Lifetime Home Services is seeking a dedicated AV Technician to install equipment and wiring on residential sites. The role requires carpentry, HVAC, electrical, or AV experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle power tools safely.

Salary is $25.00–$29.00 per hour with full-time hours. On-the-job training, health benefits, PTO, and a company truck with a fuel card are provided. Radon mitigation training is not required but may be helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year construction experience in Carpentry, HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, or AV.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficient with power and hand tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• OSHA 10/30 cert or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Use power and hand tools safely.
• Install equipment and wiring per project plans.
• Run Cat6, fiber optic, coaxial cables.
• Assess sites to determine wiring needs.
• Maintain inventory and company vehicle.
• Lift 50–75 lbs safely.
• Work on ladders safely.

Job description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled AV technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction trades such as Carpentry, HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, Audiovisual, etc. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with power and hand tools. As an AV Technician, you will work on residential sites daily. If you are passionate about a career in the AV Industry, we welcome you to apply for this position.

Responsibilities/Required skills

• Utilize power tools and hand tools effectively and safely.
• Install equipment and wiring per project requirements and blueprints.
• Run various types of wire such as Cat 6, fiber optic, coaxial, etc.
• Conduct on-site assessments to determine the appropriate wiring system required.
• Maintain inventory and organization of material and company vehicle.
• Ability to safely carry and move items between 50-75 lbs.
• Ability to work on ladders safely
• Ability to work in confined spaces (Crawlspaces, attics)
• Ability to work in new construction and existing buildings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in radon mitigation preferred but not required.
• Min. 1 year of construction experience in Carpentry, HVAC/Mechanical, Electrical, AV, etc.
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and with a team.
• Possess OSHA 10/30 certification or has ability to obtain
