Job summary

WJM Professional Services LLC is seeking an Audiology Technician to provide full audiology support for beneficiaries, aligning with PWS and military facility standards. The role requires formal audiology or hearing conservation certification and a year of recent experience, with training through military programs preferred.

Qualifications

  • Must have a certificate showing formal training related to audiology or hearing conservation.
  • Must have completed a hearing conservation course or approved training through the Army, Navy, or Air Force hearing programs.
  • Only these specific education paths are accepted—no substitutions or equivalency requests allowed.
  • Must have at least one year of full-time Audiology Technician experience within the last two years.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in conducting hearing evaluations and audiometric screenings.
  • Perform routine hearing conservation procedures and support occupational programs.
  • Prepare test equipment, calibrate devices, and ensure sanitation.
  • Educate patients on hearing protection, device care, and follow-up instructions.
  • Support audiologists during patient assessments and treatment sessions.
  • Document patient encounters and audiometric results accurately and on time.
  • Maintain hearing conservation documentation and tracking systems.
  • Assist with fitting, maintenance, and repairs of hearing protection devices.
  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure efficient clinic workflow.

We are currently recruiting for anAudiology Technician

Key Responsibilities:

The Audiology Technician willprovidea full range of audiology support services to beneficiariesin accordance withthe Performance Work Statement (PWS) and within the scope of responsibilitiesdesignatedby the Military Treatment Facility (MTF). Services must align with professional standards, ethical guidelines, and all applicable regulations.

  • Assistin conducting hearing evaluations and audiometric screenings.

  • Perform routine hearing conservation procedures and support occupational hearing conservation programs.

  • Prepare test equipment, calibrate devices, and ensure proper sanitation and readinessinclinical areas.

  • Educate patients on hearing protection, device care, and follow‑up instructions.

  • Support audiologists during patient assessments and treatment sessions.

  • Document patient encounters and audiometric results accurately and on time following AR 40‑66 and MTF standards.

  • Manage andmaintainhearing conservation documentation and tracking systems.

  • Assistwith fitting, maintenance, and minor repairs of hearing protection devices.

  • Coordinate patient scheduling and ensure efficient clinic workflow.
