Clear Creek ISD seeks an Audiology Technician to support the director, audiologist and staff in League City, TX. You will assist with scheduling, records, and the hearing aid and assistive listening device programs, while maintaining student files and district databases.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and typing skills, at least a high school diploma and 3 years of clerical experience. This full-time position pays about $19.04 per hour and works 197 days annually.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or GED is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Excellent organizational and record-keeping abilities are needed.
• Proficient typing and basic math/bookkeeping skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Audiologist by scheduling appointments and site visits to schools and maintaining detailed records of audiologic services.
• Manage the hearing aid maintenance program including inventory, supplies, repairs, billing, and records.
• Manage the Assistive Listening Device program including contacting district personnel, equipment prep, paperwork and billing.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve inquiries regarding hearing aid maintenance and assistive listening device programs.
• Support families by researching amplification options, warranty information, and financial support for repairs or replacement equipment.
• Maintain eligibility files and PEIMS data in the district database.
• Keep accurate student test results and reports on the PEIMS database.
• Maintain Assistive Listening Device inventory with database and track materials distributed.
