HearingLife in Waterbury, CT is offering an Audiology Externship for AuD students. You will gain hands-on experience with comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and education while mentored by audiologists across a nationwide network tied to the Demant group.

Externs collaborate with peers nationwide, participate in monthly workshops, and have opportunities for growth within HearingLife as they pursue internal advancement.

Qualifications

• Must actively be in an AuD program.

Responsibilities

• Learn from your preceptor and gain hands-on experience in audiology evaluations and patient engagement.
• Lead appointment documentation, fitting, and follow-up activities.
• Order and service hearing aids; take earmold impressions.
• Conduct follow-ups with patients and participate in clinic meetings.
• Support in pediatric and vestibular testing where applicable.
