Job summary

You will perform accurate data entry, verify insurance, and assist physicians, nurses, and assistants to deliver quality care. Work schedule is 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday, full-time. CMA certification and BLS are required, with preference for candidates holding CMA certification and prior medical

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 1 year of medical office experience preferred.
• CMA certification is required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Assisting the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants in giving superior medical care.
• Accurate Data Entry of charges on patient accounts, registering patients, and updating patient accounts.
• Insurance Verification and recording of Statistics.
• Assist with scheduling patient appointments, answering phones, keeping providers informed of changes, and informing patients of their benefits.
• Other duties as assigned.
