Scotch Institute of Ear Nose & Throat seeks a Certified Audiologists' Assistant for a full-time position at our Wesley Chapel office. The role supports Audiologists with patient care, hearing aid fittings, and diagnostics in a multi-specialty ENT group.

The ideal candidate has a background in administrative or customer service settings, a willingness to learn audiology, and strong communication and computer skills. This position offers career growth within a patient-centered practice.

Qualifications

• Audiology Assistant Certification required or ability to obtain certification within a reasonable time.
• Desire to learn about the field of audiology.
• Candidate must be searching for a career, not a job.
• Positive, can do attitude is a must.
• Desire to interact directly with patients.
• Ability to take initiative to learn new procedures.
• Desire to work with technology (hearing instruments, assistive listening devices).

Scotch Institute of Ear Nose & Throat, a division of ENT and Allergy Associates of Florida is currently seeking a Certified Audiologists' Assistant for a full-time position at our Wesley Chapel office. Our practice provides comprehensive general and subspecialty ENT medical and surgical care within the convenience of one medical group. Patient care is our top concern, and because we can provide both diagnosis and rehabilitative services, our patients know they can depend on our team for all their needs.

Audiologists' Assistant Description:

The ideal candidate will have a background in administrative assistance, retail or customer service in any industry. Medical background not necessary, however a plus in conjunction with below listed background.

Audiologists' Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assist Audiologist with daily patient care and hearing aid fittings
• Perform diagnostic testing
• Assist with hearing aid repairs
• Call patients to schedule appointments
• Reorder supplies and maintain inventory of supplies

Audiologists' Assistant Requirements:

• Audiology Assistant Certification required or ability to obtain certification within a reasonable time
• Desire to learn about the field of audiology

Benefits for an Audiologists' Assistant:

Physical Demands:

Coordination, manual, and physical dexterity sufficient to properly and adequately use various items of medical equipment and office equipment as required of the position or directed by the Manager. The position may involve sitting, standing, bending, and stooping. Incumbent must also be able to assist patients in transferring from wheelchair to an exam chair, when necessary. Responsibilities may also require the incumbent to travel between ENTA offices for support purposes. The incumbent must also be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
