Job summary

MRG EXAMS in Collinston, LA seeks an Audiologist to perform disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of VA processes. You will review medical records, conduct Maryland CNC and Puretone tests, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire in the secure portal.

This role does not involve prescribing treatments or devices; caseload is 3–6 Veterans per day. The position offers health insurance, malpractice coverage, training, and a predictable schedule.

Qualifications

• Au.D. with ASHA-accredited program.
• Current Audiologist license in good standing.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and document findings.
• Experience with VA forms and DBQ completion preferred.
• Excellent communication and empathy with Veterans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review electronic medical records via secure portal.
• Document exam findings and complete VA forms in the portal.
• Note: no prescribing of treatments or devices.
• Maintain a 3–6 Veterans per day caseload.
• Utilize provided computer and documentation tools.
