About the Position

Licensed Audiologist needed for Baylor Scott and White Health’s audiology program in Temple, TX. This employed career opportunity offers competitive salary, moving allowance, a generous benefits package, and no state income tax.

Responsibilities

Provide audiological services for pediatric to geriatric populations. Counsel patients on communication and technology, perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, tinnitus evaluations, hearing conservation counseling, cochlear implant assistance, vestibular and electrophysiology evaluations, and assist with fitting and dispensing amplification technology and assistive devices.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D. or Ph.D.)
• Valid Texas Audiology license
• Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification or American Board of Audiology (ABA) certification
• Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred but not required
• At least one year fitting and dispensing experience preferred but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
