Boston Medical Center seeks an Audiologist to evaluate hearing and balance, provide rehabilitation, and counsel patients on care options. You will collaborate with otologists and refer when needed, while documenting all patient visits thoroughly.
The role involves teaching medical and audiology students and coordinating services across community centers to support patient care continuity.
The Audiologist will evaluate auditory function of patients; provide rehabilitation for patients; refer to patients to other appropriate clinics and counsel patients on hearing conservation and/or hearing loss. The audiologist will also assist in medical and audiology students and other non-medical staff.

JOB REQUIREEMNTS EDUCATION:Requires a doctoral of Audiology (AuD) degree from an accredited program in Audiology.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED:Requires a certificate of clinical competence in Audiology granted by American Speech-Language and Hearing Association by the time of start date.
Current Audiologist license issued by the board of registration for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology in Massachusetts. Must be obtained by start date.
EXPERIENCE:1-3 years of clinical audiology experience preferred, but not required. New graduates encouraged to apply.
