Michigan Neurology Associates in Clinton Township, MI is seeking a dedicated audiologist for a part-time/PRN role. You will evaluate neurophysiologic testing and ENG evaluations of patients with balance disorders in a busy neurology practice.

Some duties may be performed via remote access. The role involves conducting comprehensive audiology tests, fitting and programming hearing aids, counseling patients and families, documenting in EMR, and collaborating with physicians and staff.

Qualifications

Master's or Doctorate in Audiology is required.
Current Michigan Audiology License is required.
CCC-A or equivalent certification preferred.
Clinical audiology experience is preferred; new graduates may be considered.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, tympanometry, OAE, and speech testing.
Assess, diagnose, and treat auditory and vestibular disorders in patients of all ages.
Recommend, fit, program, and troubleshoot hearing aids and assistive listening devices.
Provide counseling and education to patients and families regarding hearing loss and device use.
Maintain accurate documentation in the patient chart/EMR.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to coordinate patient care.
Prepare exam rooms, calibrate audiology equipment, and ensure OSHA compliance.
Review and interpret test results to support patient visits.
