Job summary

The Harbin Clinic in Rome, GA is actively seeking a highly motivated Audiologist to join our Hearing Center. The position rotates across three sites (Rome, Cartersville & Calhoun) and requires licensure in GA or eligibility.

Must be able to build rapport with patients, including children, and provide testing and follow-up care within scope of practice. Master’s Degree in Audiology is required and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, interpersonal and listening skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be licensed to practice Audiology in the state where services are provided.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Performs and interprets audiological evaluations to determine the type and severity of hearing loss and related disorders.
• Prescribes and dispenses hearing aids, assistive listening devices, and hearing protection devices.
• Completes all required documentation following department policy for patient care and daily billing.
• Counsels patients and families regarding hearing loss, amplification and related communication challenges.
• Manages assigned caseload and participates in staff training and program development.
