The purpose of the Audiologist is to provide hearing health care services of the highest quality to exceed external and internal customer expectation and to support the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical office operations.
Administers comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations, tests, or examinations to patients to collect information on type and degree of impairment, using specialized instruments and equipment. Manages the audiology function/department on a day to day basis, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, work methods and standards practice.
Completes documentation necessary to assure compliance with company policy, regulatory compliance and to maintain accuracy of patient medical records. Oversees activities to support effective marketing initiatives to increase awareness of available technology by educating patients, staff and referring physicians which will result in increased sales at the care center level.
