Qualifications

• Active Washington state license required.
• Master’s or Doctorate in Audiology with clinic practicum.
• Masters require Certificate of Clinic Competency in Audiology.
• AuD from a board-approved institution meets experience requirements.
• Bond in lieu of bond: $10,000.

Responsibilities

• Performs audiometric evaluations including pure tone air and bone audiometry to evaluate hearing.
• Provides hearing care by fitting and dispensing hearing devices.
• Performs speech testing and OSHA screenings.
• Educates and counsels patients and caregivers on screenings.
• Performs specialty diagnostic site-of-lesion testing (e.g., ABSs and ENGs).
• Identifies and interprets test results related to hearing disorders.
• Prepares written reports for referral sources and professionals.
