Job summary

AudioNova in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking an Audiologist or Hearing Instrument Specialist to join our patient-centric team. The role includes conducting hearing assessments, guiding patients through device options, and supporting community outreach to grow patient referrals.

Qualifications

• SC Hearing Aid Dispensing License required.
• PhD/AuD preferred as appropriate for role.
• 3rd/4th year Audiology externs are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient hearing test assessments; analyze results and recommend treatment and product options.
• Address patient questions regarding benefits of hearing aid use.
• Discuss pricing and communicate the value of hearing health care and services.
• Engage in community outreach to generate new patient referrals.
• Teach patients how to use new hearing technology to meet goals.
• Perform hearing aid repairs, checks, and cleanings; adjust fitted products.
• Support clinic operations with staff to ensure smooth daily workflow.

Education

Hearing Aid Dispensing License in SC

Doctorate in Audiology preferred

Audiology externship (3rd/4th year) encouraged
