Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Determine best treatment plan for patients.
• Identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders of hearing and balance.
• Counsel patients about hearing health.
• Evaluate candidates for hearing aids and cochlear implants.
• Supervise newborn hearing screening programs.
• Perform otoscopic examinations and manage ear canal issues.
• Collaborate with educators on communication management.
• Educate the public on hearing loss prevention.
