Job summary

The Audiologist at Los Angeles Center for Ear, Nose, Throat and Allergy (LACENTA) will evaluate hearing and balance disorders, provide fittings for hearing aids, and educate patients as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Au.D. degree from an accredited program.
• Current state audiology license to practice.
• ASHA certification preferred.
• Experience with audiometric testing and hearing aid technology.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive hearing and balance evaluations.
• Diagnose hearing disorders including hearing loss and tinnitus.
• Fit, program, and maintain hearing aids and assistive devices.
• Provide aural rehabilitation and patient counseling.
• Educate patients on hearing conservation and protection.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans.
• Stay updated on audiology technology and methods.
• Other duties as assigned.
