Job summary

Geisinger Lewistown Hospital is seeking a full-time Audiologist with dayshift at 40 hours per week. Newly licensed audiologists are encouraged to apply, and active Pennsylvania licensure is required.

Responsibilities include diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology, test batteries, electrophysiologic testing, infant screening support, and cochlear implant/auditory rehabilitation services. Mentorship and team collaboration are integral to the role.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Audiology required.
• Active Pennsylvania Audiologist licensure required.
• ASHA CCC within 6 months or equivalent licensure.”

Responsibilities

• Provide audiological diagnostic and rehabilitative care to patients.
• Perform standard/audiometric testing including air/bone conduction, speech reception threshold, and speech discrimination.
• Provide electrophysiologic testing and central auditory processing evaluations.
• Deliver rehabilitative services including counseling and hearing aid evaluations/training.
• Collaborate with infant screening and aural rehabilitation programs.
• Oversee Audiology Technicians and coordinate with other departments.
