Job summary

Northfield Hospital & Clinics seeks an Audiologist to provide comprehensive audiology services at the Lakeville Clinic, supporting the ENT practice. The role entails testing, counseling, and treatment planning in a clinic environment with a focus on patient-centered care.

Candidates should hold an AuD with Minnesota licensure or eligibility, and BLS certification. CCC-A is preferred. The position offers a benefits package, professional development, and flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• AuD degree is required.
• Current Minnesota Audiology License or eligibility.
• Clinical audiology experience in a healthcare or clinic setting.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers certification or able to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Counsel and instruct patients and families to improve hearing and communication.
• Evaluate hearing and balance disorders to determine diagnoses and treatment.
• Participate in conferences or training on new hearing/balance treatments or technologies.
• Conduct or direct research on hearing topics and report findings for procedures or treatments.
• Administer hearing tests and examine patients using specialized equipment.
• Engage in marketing activities to promote the clinic's services.
• Recommend assistive devices based on patient needs.
