Job summary

MRG Exams in Onyx, CA seeks a compassionate Audiologist to perform in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans as part of the VA process. You will review medical records, conduct Maryland CNC and Puretone tests, and complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire within the portal.

This role does not involve prescribing treatments; caseload is 3-6 Veterans per day, with equipment provided. Schedule is 1-2 days per week (8a-6p), in-person location, computer provided.

Qualifications

• Au.D. degree and licensure as an Audiologist.
• ASHA Accredited School graduation.
• Comfortable using technology to review records and complete documentation.

We are seeking a dedicatedAudiologistto join our team in performing medical assessments forU.S. Veteransas part of the VA's disability benefits process. As part of this role, you will review the Veteran's medical records, which are uploaded into a secure computer portal, before conducting a Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test. You will then complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the portal, generating the medical documentation needed for the VA to determine the Veteran’s eligibility for benefits.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-persondisability assessmentsfor U.S. Veterans.
• Review and analyze electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document exam findings and complete the required VA forms.

Note:This role does not involve prescribing any medical treatments or devices.Disability determinations are made by theU.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA),not by the provider.

• Caseload:3-6 Veterans per day on average.
