Job summary

Northeast Georgia ENT is seeking an Audiologist to diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders in patients of all ages, in a private practice setting.

You will work closely with physicians to deliver comprehensive audiological services, perform tests, fit and program hearing aids, and educate patients about results and device use. Competitive compensation, sign-on bonus, and relocation assistance are available.

Qualifications

  • Perform hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing for pediatric and adult patients.
  • Fit and program hearing aids to meet each patient’s unique needs.
  • Conduct Auditory Evoked Potentials testing.
  • Perform vestibular assessments including VNG and caloric testing.
  • Administer electrophysiology testing such as EcochG.
  • Conduct OAE and DPOAE screenings.
  • Provide custom earmolds and musician hearing protection.
  • Interpret test results and educate patients on plans and device use.

Position Overview:

In this role as an Audiologist, you will diagnose and treat hearing and balance disorders for patients of all ages, using evidence-based care to improve their quality of life. You’ll work closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive audiological services, with a focus on accurate diagnostics, personalized treatment, and exceptional patient care in a private practice setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform hearing evaluations and diagnostic testing for pediatric and adult patients.
  • Fit and program hearing aids to meet each patient’s unique needs.
  • Conduct Auditory Evoked Potentials (AEP) testing.
  • Perform vestibular assessments, including VNG and caloric testing.
  • Administer electrophysiology testing such as Electrocochleography (EcochG).
  • Conduct otoacoustic emissions (OAE) and distortion product OAE screenings (DPOAEs).
  • Provide custom earmolds and musician hearing protection products.
  • Interpret test results in the context of each patient’s lifestyle and communication goals.
  • Educate and counsel patients and caregivers on results, treatment plans, and device use.
  • Collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and coordinated care.
