Company Description DR. EIMERS HEARING CLINIC is a dedicated hearing healthcare practice providing exceptional, patient-centered care. With two convenient locations in Harbor Springs and Cheboygan, Michigan, the clinic offers comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and cochlear implant services. Our current Doctors of Audiology deliver evidence-based care and personalized treatment plans for individuals of all ages. The clinic emphasizes professional integrity, collaborative teamwork, and long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Role Description This full-time, on-site Audiologist role is based at both the Harbor Springs and Cheboygan, MI locations. This position requires working in both locations. The Audiologist will perform comprehensive hearing evaluations, including diagnostic testing, interpretation of results, and development of treatment recommendations. Daily responsibilities include counseling patients and families, fitting and programming hearing aids, providing cochlear implant candidacy assessments and follow-up care, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation. The role also involves collaborating with other audiologists and healthcare professionals, educating patients on hearing health, and supporting clinic operations to ensure a positive and efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or equivalent degree from an accredited program; eligibility for or current state licensure in Michigan.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in diagnostic audiology, including comprehensive hearing assessments and interpretation of test results across age groups.
  • Experience with hearing aid technology, including selection, fitting, programming, verification, and ongoing patient support.
  • Knowledge of cochlear implant candidacy, evaluation protocols, and follow-up care, with a commitment to evidence-based practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, empathetic counseling and education to patients and families.
  • Detail-oriented approach to clinical documentation, recordkeeping, and adherence to professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a small, team-oriented clinic environment and to manage a varied patient caseload efficiently.
  • Prior clinical experience in a medical or private practice audiology setting is preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations are encouraged to apply.
