Job summary

Matrix Providers seeks Audiologists to join our provider network as independent contractors to perform disability examinations for Veterans. Per diem opportunities are available with a competitive hourly rate.

Applicants must hold AuD or equivalent and an active license in their state. Prior disability exam experience is preferred, and compensation is $70–$76 per hour, with prompt payments and provider support.

Your Role as a Provider:

As a clinician, you are an expert in the assessment, evaluation, and diagnosis of health conditions for your patients. As an independent contractor with us, you apply your expertise in the evaluation and diagnosis of audio conditions to support a Veteran’s disability claim. As a certified medical disability examiner, you gather and synthesize clinical evidence through medical and military record review, interviews with Veterans, and face-to-face examinations. You develop a medical opinion of likelihood that the Veteran’s condition is related to their military service. The timely and expert examination assures that a Veteran’s claim is heard and dutifully processed by VBA.
