Concord Hospital in New Hampshire seeks an Audiologist to identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders of hearing, balance, and tinnitus. Licensure in NH and an AuD or Masters in Audiology are required, with collaboration with the health care team and patient counseling.
Responsibilities include newborn hearing screening, candidacy assessment for hearing aids and cochlear implants, audiologic rehabilitation, and education for patients and families. Two years of experience is preferred.
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Audiologist holds an advanced degree and holds a state license to practice audiology in order to identify, test, diagnose, and manage disorders of human hearing, balance, and tinnitus. They perform comprehensive audiological services for the diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing loss and related auditory and vestibular diseases. They interpret the test results, work in tandem with your health care team, and review results as well as counsel the patient on their hearing health. If needed, they discuss, dispense, and adjust hearing aids along with Osseo-integrated devices and cochlear implants. Education Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) or Masters in Audiology with graduation prior to 1988 Certification, Registration & Licensure Licensure: Active licensure in good standing State: New Hampshire Experience Two years of Audiology practice experience preferred.
