Job summary

360care in Columbia, SC is seeking a compassionate Audiologist to provide quality care to geriatric and underserved communities. As a 1099 Independent Contractor, this role offers great compensation, a flexible schedule, and the opportunity to focus solely on patient care. You will travel to skilled nursing facilities, conduct comprehensive audiological exams, dispense hearing aids, and complete clinical documentation. Qualifications

  • Doctorate of Audiology required (AuD); Master's acceptable if graduated before 2006.
  • Strong background in hearing aid dispensing, fitting, and repairs.
  • ENT experience is helpful.

Responsibilities

Seeking a compassionate Audiologist with a heart for the Geriatric and Underserved Communities.

The Audiology services we provide to the residents of the facilities we serve provide them with dignity and quality of life.

As a 1099 Independent Contractor, you will receive great compensation and enjoy a flexible schedule. No evenings or weekends as we work around your availability.

Role Overview & Responsibilities for Audiologists:

  • Travel to skilled nursing and long term care facilities
  • Conduct comprehensive examinations, evaluations, and auditory consultation
  • Traditional daily patient care will include comprehensive diagnostic audiological examinations, hearing aid evaluations, hearing aid selections, and repair
  • Dispense and adjust new hearing aids
  • Perform cerumen management, where allowed by state professional regulations
  • Complete required patient and clinical documentation using our EMR system.

We Provide:

  • State of the art portable equipment and supplies
    • Curettes or suction, Head light with magnification, computer Audiometer, Tympanometer, Noah Link
  • All scheduling and billing completed by 360Care
  • Laptop for documentation
  • Full office support including a Care Coordination team handling all consents, pre-authorizations, patient scheduling, post op and IT support
  • Field support and mentorship from Clinical Director
Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Doctorate of Audiology is required (AuD). If graduated before 2006 a master’s degree is acceptable
  • Strong background in hearing aid dispensing along with fitting, and repairs.
  • ENT experience helpful
