CACI International Inc. is seeking an Audio Visual Information Specialist in McLean, VA. The role involves designing and producing multimedia content across web, print and broadcast platforms, including scripts, narrations and spot announcements.

You will plan and prep artwork, manage video/audio production, and ensure quality across internal and client communications. A TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of end-to-end production of professional video and audio materials.
  • Knowledge of copyright laws applicable to visual information production.
  • Experience in designing, integrating and performing IT and communications equipment functions.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design and prepare artwork (audio, video, visual) and concept designs.
  • Research, edit and produce broadcast-quality video/audio materials for web and media.
  • Coordinate lighting, cameras, sound, props and crew for sets and shoots.
  • Edit final video products to ensure continuity and narrative flow.
  • Maintain library of audio/video products and assist other teams.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and creating innovative concepts and ideas to enhance all visual aspects of the company or client brand. This will include all external and internal communications, advertising and promotional materials to include literature, print, multimedia, social media marketing, web applications, presentations, videos, and similar graphics applications. You will be involved in the planning, designing and prep of artwork (audio, video and visual), strategy and conceptualization of new designs.Responsibilities:Duties may include planning, designing and preparation of artwork (audio, video and visual), as well as strategy and conceptualization of new designsResearch, acquire, edit and produce commercial broadcast-quality video and audio informational materials for use on web and traditional media platformsIdentify and select newsworthy eventsProduce radio, television and documentary scripts, narrations, public service announcements, and spot announcementsAcquire still digital images, edits images; create photo story and multiple page documents using advanced layout and design techniques that combine elements of digital graphic and design techniques with the use of vector, raster and desktop publishingPrepare sets to include the positioning of lights, cameras, sound, properties and personnel, ensuring special audio and video effects are used effectivelyEdit final video products shot in sequence and/or out-of-sequence to ensure continuity, effectiveness of action and dialogue or narrative, using industry standard digital editingMaintain productive working relationships with staff in other communicationsAssist in developing and producing content for new and emerging communication vehiclesSelect associated visual material as necessary and availableMaintain organization's library of audio and video productsDesign, develop, debug, and implement new software products or major enhancements to existing softwareResearch, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on user requirementsAddress problems of system integration, compatibility, and multiple platformsConsult with project teams and end users to identify application requirementsPerform feasibility analysis on potential future projectsAssist in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing toolsQualifications:Required:Bachelor’s degree in a related field, from an accredited institution and a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree add 2 additional years of experience if AA/AS, or 4 additional years of experience with HS diplomaUnderstanding of and ability to apply the principles of layout and design of photographic projects using industry standard software, with an emphasis on Adobe Creative Suite 6 Production Premium software and hardware for layout, editing, and producing final multimedia productsKnowledge of end-to-end production of professional video and audio materials (e.g. conception, design, execution, finishing/editing, and distribution/publishing)Knowledge of copyright laws applicable to visual information productionExperience in designing, integrating and performing O&M functions to custom IT and communications equipmentExpert solutions provider to include Ethernet, grounding, RF and wireless communication settings and operating system and driver conflicts and versioningExpert in all phases of the project lifecycle including design, procurement, integration, testing, and deploymentDesired:Working knowledge of desktop publishing software (e.g. Corel Ventura, Talisma Knowledgebase)Working knowledge of graphics or photo imaging software (e.g. CorelDraw Graphics Suite, Corel Paint Shop)This position is contingent on funding and may not be filled immediately.
