Job description

You will be on live projects early, working next to senior engineers and consultants who are expected to teach. You will see how a loose AV concept becomes a coordinated design, then a set of construction documents, then a system that thousands of people experience. We hire curiosity and give it real problems. If you are the person who took the mixer apart to see how it worked, we want to talk.

Our projects include professional and collegiate stadiums and arenas, entertainment venues, training and practice facilities, and large commercial developments across the United States.

What You Will Do
  • Design and document audio-video systems alongside senior engineers.
  • Develop Revit and AutoCAD drawings including system plans, equipment layouts, infrastructure requirements, details, and one-line diagrams. Our engineers model and draw their own work.
  • Support equipment research, system calculations, product selection, and equipment lists.
  • Contribute to the design of sound reinforcement, distributed audio, video distribution, IPTV, control systems, DSP, and AV networks.
  • Coordinate audio-video requirements with architecture, electrical, structural, mechanical, and IT systems.
  • Participate in design reviews and project coordination meetings, and speak up in them.
  • Help prepare specifications, narratives, reports, and documentation.
  • Join site surveys, construction observation, system testing, and commissioning.
  • Build a working understanding of current and emerging venue technology.
What You Bring
  • Zero to three years of relevant professional experience. New graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Genuine interest in professional audio-video, sports technology, broadcast, acoustics, networking, or entertainment technology.
  • Basic understanding of signal flow, networking, audio, video, or electronics.
  • Technical curiosity and the instinct to ask why rather than wait to be told.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and work inside a collaborative design team.
What Would Set You Apart
  • A degree in engineering, architectural engineering, audio technology, electronics, information technology, or a related field. Preferred, not required.
  • Revit, AutoCAD, or Bluebeam experience.
  • Live sound, broadcast, campus AV, house of worship, theater, or integration experience, including work you did outside of school.
  • CTS or manufacturer training.
